At the very least, purchasing your first wig can be intimidating. Why wouldn’t almost every brand offer the shiniest, most beautiful, and most natural-looking hair? To begin with, I fell for their grandiose boasts and ended up with both wonderful and dreadful wigs in equal measure. Now that I’m older and wiser, I’d want to share my recommendations for the best wig brands in the hopes of assisting others who are struggling under the weight of pushy marketing.
The Best Wig Manufacturer
Let me tell you something crucial before I go any farther. It’s pointless to get the cheapest wig you can find, something I realised far too late. I was feeling fairly smug after placing my first eBay order; the shiny, shampoo ad-locks of the smiling woman in the photo will soon be mine for less than a fiver. Check San Antonio Best Wigs.
Unfortunately, the model’s grin was deceitful. The fit was terrible, the colour was a brassy off-yellow (rather than the ‘Opulent Caramel’ that the label suggested), and the ‘beautiful shine’ was actually an ugly, manufactured glare. So, now that we’ve cleared everything up, here are the three greatest wig brands for beautiful, natural-looking hair, or The Three Rs, as I like to call them.
Rene of Paris makes some of the most realistic-looking synthetic wigs available. They’re available in a magnificent choice of colours and designs, each one radiating sophistication, and they’ll look great on every face shape or skin tone. In fact, I’m having trouble coming up with anything I don’t like about them. Check out their Amore designer range, which features double monofilament wigs that are designed for maximum softness and comfort.
Raquel Welch, in my opinion, is the queen of shorter wig designs (though their longer ones are equally lovely!) Their synthetic and human hair wigs come in a variety of edgy yet wearable designs that look so natural that stylists have been fooled. The comments never stopped coming when I wore a jagged, copper-toned wig from their Urban Styles collection.
Revlon is a cosmetics company that specialises in
Pick a Revlon wig if you’re ever in doubt. Their wigs, which are made of synthetic and human hair, are colourful, rich, and voluminous without appearing unnatural. The Simply Beautiful collection’s monofilament caps are all hand-sewn from the finest fibre, making them very natural, light, and easy to style. You will be hooked with Revlon wigs once you try one. Of course, there are a plethora of others, many of which I have yet to test. So, what are the greatest wig brands you’ve tried, my fellow wig wearers? Please share your suggestions; I’m always looking for a new look (and I’m sure I’m not alone!)
